Our history

What do you get when you cross a plumber with an insurance underwriter.
My guess is you would never even fathom the answer. However, in 1986, that’s exactly how Spath Jewelers got started.

The truth is back then, our founders Gene and Tina Spath didn’t know
much about jewelry, but what they did know; God is good, how to work
hard, and how to take care of people. Since then what has formed is a
business that blurs the lines between family, friends, customers, and
employees.

WORK! Spath Jewelers has become a staple to the Bartow and Polk
County area. When walking into Spath Jewelers, our goal is to make you
feel as if you are being welcomed into our home. However, in this home
you are greeted by a knowledgeable staff and surrounded by sparkly
diamonds…!!!!

Every one of the staff members at Spath Jewelers is sent through an
accredited jewelry program with the Gemological Institute of America.
What makes us different is our people and the experience. We try very
hard to take care of everything for you.
