Lashbrook builds men's wedding bands in Draper, Utah, and has spent twenty five years making rings out of materials nobody else was willing to work with. They were among the first American companies to produce titanium bands, and the first to launch carbon fiber, damascus steel, and camo lines. Today that list runs to Gibeon meteorite, dinosaur bone, antler, hardwood, mokume gane, zirconium, tantalum, cobalt chrome, superconductor, and carbon fiber, alongside conventional gold, platinum, and palladium.

What actually sets Lashbrook apart is that a ring is specified rather than picked off a shelf. You choose the base material, the width, the profile, whether the edges are flat, domed, beveled, or high beveled, what goes in the inlay, whether there is a hardwood or precious metal sleeve on the inside, and whether stones or laser engraving are added. The combinations run into the millions, which means two people can want the same meteorite band and walk away with genuinely different rings.

These bands photograph well but they land differently in person, since weight and finish vary enormously between zirconium, cobalt chrome, and gold. Sizing matters more here than with a gold band, because most of these materials cannot be resized after the fact.
