Engagement Ring Settings

The rings on this page are settings, also called semi mounts. They arrive complete except for the center stone, which you choose separately, and the price shown covers the setting alone. We say that plainly because the opposite practice is common online, where a low advertised price turns out to exclude the diamond entirely and nobody mentions it until checkout.

Building a ring this way gives you control over where the money goes. You can put more into the center diamond and less into the mounting, or the reverse, and you can weigh a better cut grade against more carat weight with the actual stones in front of you. Settings are also the answer when you already have the diamond. If you inherited a ring, or have a stone sitting in a box that nobody wears, a new setting turns it into something worn daily without losing what it meant.
